One of my favorite rules for travel, and life, is what I call the Rule of 12. When Tana and I travel, we expect things to go wrong, whether that’s a delayed flight, a reservation mix-up, or plans changing along the way. Instead of letting the first inconvenience hijack our mood, we don’t allow ourselves to get upset until 12 things have gone wrong. Why? Because your brain is always looking for what’s wrong. If you let one frustrating moment take over, it can quickly become the story of your entire day. The Rule of 12 helps us stay flexible, laugh more, and keep our attention on what’s actually going right. As we head home from a wonderful time in Jackson Hole, that’s the reminder I’m taking with me: protect your brain, protect your peace, and don’t let small things steal big memories. ❤️ #RuleOf12 #BrainHealth #MentalHealth #JacksonHole #TravelTips
