A Hampton Roads native and lifelong public servant, Cape Zemp has dedicated more than 32 years to serving the nation through military and government leadership. He currently serves as a senior consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense, supporting partner nations around the world, following his service as a senior leader with the Defense Health Agency. A 1990 Christopher Newport University graduate and commissioned U.S. Army Armor officer through CNU’s ROTC program, Cape served 29 years in the U.S. Army, culminating as Chief of Staff of the Army’s Human Resources Command.
