June Laffey serves as Chief of Staff to Virginia Lieutenant Governor Ghazala Hashmi, where she plays a key role in advancing public policy and serving communities across the Commonwealth. Prior to this role, she served for four years as Chief of Staff to then-Senator Hashmi, building a career dedicated to public service and civic engagement. A 2019 graduate of Christopher Newport University with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Environmental Studies, June has contributed to landmark legislation that has shaped Virginia’s future.
