A triathlon coach is recovering after he says an alligator bit him while he was training with athletes in the Savannah River near North Augusta. Jonathan Bruney says he and a group of athletes entered the river near SRP Park on Sunday morning to practice the swim course for the upcoming IRONMAN Augusta race. Bruney said he was setting the pace for the group when the attack happened.
