Following the termination of a Colleton County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant, the agency has modified its policies regarding Flock Safety cameras. Lieutenant Ruben Carter was terminated after an audit of the agency's Flock Safety camera system revealed that Carter had a total of 2,700 unauthorized searches. Sheriff Guerry Hill has also requested the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to investigate the incident.
