And sometimes it looks like crawling through a storm drain and disappearing into the bushes after a litter of tiny kittens. 😬 When our rockstar volunteer Ashlyn abg2847 heard that a semi-feral mama cat had hidden her babies in a storm drain, she jumped into action. Getting to them meant climbing into places most of us would rather not, getting dirty, and coming away with more than a few scratches and bruises-- but Ashlyn was determined to give this little family a chance.
