Gold Award Girl Scout Aashni Katari spearheaded a project focused on the impact of social media on youth. 📱 For her project, "Screen Time and Social Media Effects on Children," Aashni wrote a six-book literary series called Beyond the Screen, aimed at helping children build healthy coping skills and encouraging responsible social media use. Along with her book series, she led presentations at local libraries and elementary schools and is working with the Poway Unified School District Board to establish a Social Media Awareness and Youth Well-Being Day.
