Wildlife are wild animals. They are not your dance competition. (There is no competition.) Give them plenty of space, observe quietly, and never approach, chase, feed, or attempt to get their attention by making cat noises or enthusiastically showing off aggressive spirit fingers. Your best wildlife encounter is one where everyone, especially the wildlife, gets to go home undisturbed. Well, they’re already home, so…basically, do not bring it on.
