From Carlos Wallace, Judge Hunt’s grandson. OUR HISTORY!!!! Oneal Hunt was the very first African American judge in Anderson County in Texas. A devout Christian, Hunt served his church faithfully. He also worked tirelessly to care for his family all while attending college. Oneal served as a judge for 14 years. He retired to take care of his wife and enjoy the things he loved to do.
