Today was a long day. Our kids took the Reading STAAR and it was LOOONG AND on an iPad! Very few students were done before lunch time, I took 11,500 steps and I only left mu classroom twice! We were ALL exhausted by the end. But tomorrow we're going to do something good. Tomorrow I'm going to celebrate each kid & their growth over the year. I'm going to throw each kid their own individual party and celebrate all their progress & change BEFORE they took the STAAR. I want to show them how change & progress takes time and it's not defined by ONE test. So when we have our little party together and I show them their data sheet from the entire school year, I want them to know that I am proud of them, I didn't give up on them (even when it was hard) and that they're ready to keep GROWING. #ProgressOverPerfection #NeverStopLearning #NeverStopGrowing—-Mrs. Reeves, A.M.
