The City of Pflugerville has turned off and is covering the Flock license plate reader cameras in the city, pending a potential contract renewal. One city council member says that records show hundreds of outside organizations accessed the city's camera network over the last six months. Only 78 organizations are listed by Flock as having access to Pflugerville's data. City staff found that the system was configured correctly to "block the exact statewide and national sharing we were told wasn't happening," said Council member Jonathan Coffman.
