In partnership with: DBS Foundation Co-funded by the DBS Foundation and managed by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the newly opened Yau Ma Tei Community Living Room is part of a Hong Kong government initiative aimed at bettering the lives of residents who live in subdivided flats. This Community Living Room includes kitchen and laundry facilities, bathrooms with showers, a communal living area and playrooms for children, giving the local residents much-needed space to fulfil their daily needs and to socialise with one another. In addition, the Community Living Room hosts health-oriented activities as well as workshops covering topics like financial management to further benefit members, with support from DBS volunteers.
