USING NEGATIVE SPACE IN MY CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY. One of the many techniques I use in my concert photography is negative space. This method can give your photos a cleaner, more balanced look by removing distractions around your subject. It can serve various purposes, such as instantly drawing more attention to your subject, emphasizing the vast and grand scale of your subject’s environment, or even creating a sense of isolation or peace.
