PART 2 82 years after the inception of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, The Women’s Pro Baseball League is here! With Latina talent represented across every roster, we wanted to highlight the talented players that are making history with WPBL. Players with roots in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Curaçao are helping to launch a new era of women’s professional baseball with the Boston Hunters, New York Heights, Los Angeles Queens and San Francisco Firebells. The WPBL opened its inaugural season on Aug. 1, with every game being played at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois. Meet the Latinas changing the game.
