Three people are seriously hurt after a crash on Route 301 in Prince George’s County that left people trapped in their cars, authorities say. The crash occurred on southbound Route 301 before MD-5. All lanes were blocked at the county line, with delays building. Chopper4 video shows one obliterated car with a shredded front bumper, crumpled hood and the front passenger side door thrown open 180 degrees. Pieces of detritus are scattered across the road around the vehicle. Another car can be seen yards away, its crumpled hood facing the opposite direction of the flow of traffic on that side of the road. Two people were medevaced in critical condition, the county fire department said. One person was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
