RIP Vance 🙏 🤙 Tonight as the u16 Hornets played their last regular season game of the season, we sit at the top of the ladder undefeated. As we head towards finals , we have learned how to play “Hornets basketball”. We are unselfish, we play for one another, as a team, and focus on the small things, that make the biggest difference. It’s not who we play, it’s how we play. That is reflected in not only the chemistry they have built together on the court, but also in the friendships they have forged off of it. Tonight in presenting the boys with our Whanau jersey, i asked them to not only honour my friend Vance (RIP) in wearing these special jerseys, but i also asked them to honour one another, all of the hard work they have put in this season to this point, the coaches who have poured into them, and our club.
