Years ago, my aunt came to me in a dream and told me what heaven actually is. Truly.
She explained where she was. What it felt like. How close it was to us. What she told me completely changed the way I understand death, and where the people we love actually go.
I don’t believe they are somewhere “above” us.
I believe they are here. Existing alongside us in another frequency and dimension; one we move in and out of being able to perceive.
It’s why they seem to arrive in those particular moments. The half-second before sleep. The floor of deep grief. The middle of something so absorbing that you forget to keep yourself assembled.
Something loosens. The veil thins.
And there they are.
Except maybe they were there the entire time.
