Some songs just absolutely refused to leave Number 1 🎶 Sam Fender and Olivia Dean made UK chart history with ‘Rein Me In’, which spent a record-breaking 21 non-consecutive weeks at Number 1. It overtook Frankie Laine’s ‘I Believe’, whose 18-week record had stood since 1953. Behind Bryan Adams’ ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It for You’ spent 16 weeks at the top in 1991, still the longest consecutive run at Number 1 in UK chart history. Wet Wet Wet’s ‘Love Is All Around’ and Drake’s ‘One Dance’ both managed 15 consecutive weeks at the summit, while Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ has spent a combined 14 weeks at Number 1, nine during its original 1975-76 run and another five following its 1991 re-release. Holding onto the top spot for 21 weeks is ridiculous 🤯 #music #no1 #ladbible
