The Halifax County Visitor Center in Roanoke Rapids, NC is one of our regular stops whenever we're traveling up or down I-95 - I always make a point of stopping here! Right off I-95 at Exit 173, the Visitor Center has its own FREE fenced dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs, fresh water, cleanup stations and plenty of room to stretch these very long wolfhound legs before getting back in the car.
