A herd of elephants has taken over Boston, but only until September 13th!
The Great Elephant Migration is a traveling public art installation featuring 100 life-sized elephant sculptures, each modeled after a real wild elephant living in India. The elephants were created by Indigenous artisans using lantana camara, an invasive plant that threatens wildlife habitats.
Beyond being RIDICULOUSLY cool to see in person (especially with two giants the size of the baby elephants 😂), the exhibition helps raise awareness and funds for conservation efforts focused on helping people and wildlife coexist.
If you're in Boston before September 13th, definitely add this one to your list!
