Lanii Tu’guul is the grandest Zapotec Celebration of the dead for the indigenous communities east of Oaxaca City. The common translation: “Day of the Dead” does not capture the depth and joy of Lanii Tu’guul, which is why we warmly invite you to learn and experience it firsthand.
