Okay! #lauren London is set to portray the late Beverly Tate, Snoop Dogg’s mother, in Universal Pictures’ upcoming biopic “Snoop,” according to deadline. The film will star Jonathan Daviss as Snoop, with Myles Bullock as Dr. Dre. The casting makes for a full-circle moment, as Lauren and Snoop previously worked together on several music videos in the early 2000s. Now, she’ll be bringing the woman who helped shape the rap icon’s early life to the big screen. Craig Brewer is directing the film, which is set to hit theaters on August 6, 2027.
