For this year’s Korean Pavilion(korean_pavilion) at La Biennale di Venezia, curator Binna Choi (choi.binna) turned to a pivotal moment of Korean history—the post-liberation period—to encourage the global public to think about what liberation can mean today by locating the pavilion as a living monument to the idea of “Liberation Space.” The Korean Pavilion is supported by Hyundai Motor through its longstanding partnership with Arts Council Korea since 2015.
