X-Humanoid’s TienKung Ultra finished the race in 9.39 seconds, beating Usain Bolt’s 9.58-second world record. Even crazier, Honor’s Lightning reportedly reached 9.32 seconds during an earlier test run. The five-day competition is being held at Beijing’s National Speed Skating Oval, bringing together more than 2,000 robots competing in sports and practical real-world challenges. And the progress is wild: just last year, TienKung Ultra needed 21.50 seconds to cover the same 100 meters. From 21.50 seconds to 9.39 in a year.
