Jim Ross got some good news. On Grilling JR, Ross said his oncologist believes the mass on his kidney is not serious cancer. A small lump remains that may be cancerous, but it can be surgically removed, with an MRI and further tests ahead. Ross also detailed the recent surgery to install a shunt draining excess fluid from his brain, describing the symptoms that led to it: "You start forgetting things. It's crucial to your equilibrium, and there's some pain involved, headaches." The surgery came with an eight-day hospital stay. "I'm healing, just not as fast as I'd like, but I am healing," Ross said, adding that his brain surgeon has told him he's too impatient.
