Dolly Parton once starred in a wrestling music video with Hulk Hogan. For the 1987 premiere of her ABC variety show, Parton wrote “He’s Got a Headlock on My Heart,” answering a tabloid story that claimed she would fall in love with a 300-pound wrestler. Hogan appeared in his red and yellow gear as “Starlight Starbright,” won a match, and married Parton in the ring. Hogan later wrote that Parton had called his house personally to pitch it. Parton died Tuesday at 80. She mailed more than 250 million free books to children through her Imagination Library, helped fund the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, stood by her LGBT fans throughout her career, and said plainly in 2020: “Of course Black lives matter.” Rest in peace, Dolly. #DollyParton #HulkHogan
