AFI, Outbreak Fest x All Points East 2026 REVIEW: Few musicians are capable of owning a stage quite like Davey Havok. Dressed in a black studded jacket with hair somehow bigger than the notes he’s belting out on the West Stage, the frontman commands every single moment of AFI’s hit-loaded set, dealing out singalong after singalong under the bright late afternoon skies. Whether they’re firing out the rallying cries of synth-fuelled single ‘Love Like Winter’ or leaning into the dark pop-punk buoyancy of ‘17 Crimes’, the Californian punk legends are on fine form today, Davey’s mic stand barely touching the floor as he carries it across the stage before thrusting it into the energetic crowd. Their darker instincts might shine through in the heavy gothic synths of ‘Holy Visions’ and the moody theatrics of ‘Beautiful Thieves’, but it’s impossible to ignore how much fun is being had by the four-piece in this moment.
