Weight Loss - losing weight in any form - water weight, muscle, or fat.
🏃♀️🏃♂️ Increased cardio
🥗 Slashing calories (until it no longer works)
General weight loss is a faster process than fat loss because we don’t have to be as specific.
While the number on the scale may go down, this could be from cutting carbs, fats, sweating more, or simply eating less.
Aka losing water weight since you’re eating less foods that retain water .. aka carbs.
If weight loss is your ONLY goal, this is fine, but it may result in “skinny fat.” (Losing weight but having a higher body fat % & not much muscle). AKA no being toned.
To avoid the “skinny fat”… focusing on fat loss - the longer route! - may be a better option.
