Some kitchens ask you to slow down. For this home, the kitchen needed to support everyday life while still feeling calm and considered.Warm oak cabinetry, a plaster range hood, natural stone, and generous light create a quieter backdrop for the everyday things that happen here. The details are considered, from the custom cabinetry and storage to the way the kitchen connects to the spaces around it. Nothing feels overly formal or precious. It’s a room meant to be used, gathered in, and lived with over time. That balance between function and ease is something we return to again and again in kitchen design. Interiors: benjaminjohnstondesign Builder: thompsoncustomhomes Architecture: robertdamedesigns Photography: juliesoefer Styling: jbheditorial #kitchendesign #luxuryinteriors #interiordesign #customkitchen #interiorarchitecture
