Mahendra and Dhruv Amin, a Long Island father and son, are still searching for and hoping to make contact with their family members who they have not heard from since the disaster in Nepal on Wednesday. ⁠ ⁠ Amita Amin, Mahendra's wife and Dhruv's mother, was on a tour crossing the border between Nepal and Tibet. She was attempting to complete her seventh pilgrimage to Mount Kailash, a sacred pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists.
