Dolly Parton touched millions of lives with her music and some unforgettable roles, but she may have made her biggest impact in the classroom. For two years, the Wyandanch School District on Long Island has partnered with Parton’s Imagination Library. The program does more than just put books in children’s hands, it's designed to build a love of reading from a young age. Every month, from birth to 5 years old, children receive a new age-appropriate book — completely free of charge. The goal: make reading part of everyday life. The last book children receive is "Oh, The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. So what will become of this program with Parton's passing?
