Once things were running, the French DJ quickly found his groove, later playing “Habibi” during his Project 91 set at Brooklyn Army Terminal. The French DJ opened with Middle Eastern-inspired sounds before taking the crowd through the Latin and Afro house influences he’s become known for. The Marseille-born DJ has spoken about growing up around the mix of Arab, French, Spanish and Italian cultures that surround the Mediterranean, influences that continue to show up throughout his music.
