This morning, fifth-year mechanical engineering student Terry Xie battled cloudy skies to capture stunning photos of the partial lunar eclipse from Georgia Tech’s campus.
The images were taken at 12:04 a.m. on a Canon EPS R5 MkII with a Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM “Sport” lens.
The first image is a composite of the eclipse and the Kessler Campanile. The second is of the eclipse with the ridges of the campanile in the foreground.
