First impressions: diadora Blushield Torneo 3. Last shoe I liked was the Nike Zoom Cage 3 back in 2019. I’ve had plantar fasciitis all summer and this was my first pain-free session since May. Bouncy too… very supportive and gave me the confidence to run down shots like I was in college again.
Only the first hit… but super impressed. I paid full price, $159 + tax. Nobody sent me these. Shout-out to Nate from notyourcountryclub for recommending them.
Love that they come with a durability guarantee. Brings to overall cost down significantly if you burn thru them like I do.
Notes on past shoes:
- Diadem Court Burst: good shoe, super comfortable at first but it doesn’t have the best cushioning/support for the heel. Feels like more of a pickleball shoe.
- On Roger Pro 2: premium shoe that was incredibly stable/supportive. Doesn’t have the best cushioning tho… think it gave me Plantar Fasciitis.
- Fila shoes (forgot the name): was cheap and didn’t last
