One source went as far as to say, on record, that the rumors are “bullshit,” “made up” and “invented BS by bloggers.” Minnesota continues to have discussions regularly with Hughes’ agent Pat Brisson and the club remains confident a deal will be agreed before the start of the new season. In other news, the Wild are closing in on a contract extension with head coach John Hynes, who is entering the final year of his contract.
