Phoenix, we need your help with this one! We’re trying to surprise a local restaurant owner by packing her grand opening this Saturday and she has absolutely no idea. After working at Maskadores Taco Shop for six years, Esmeralda recently became the owner and is reopening it as Baja Tacos Mami. She chose August 15 because it marks three years since she tragically lost her youngest daughter in a road rage incident. Now she’s choosing to turn one of the hardest days of her life into the start of a new chapter while honoring her daughter’s legacy.
