This Community Health Worker Awareness Week, we’re highlighting the important role community health workers (CHWs) play in advancing inclusive health. ❤️ People with intellectual disabilities (ID) often face barriers when accessing health systems and interacting with the health workforce. Evidence-based training can help CHWs better support people with ID.
