It’s Community Health Worker Awareness Week! 💙 Community Health Workers (CHWs) play an essential role in helping people with intellectual disabilities (ID) access health services, navigate health systems, and receive the care they need. Special Olympics Health Training encompasses in-person and online education for existing clinicians, current clinical students, and non-clinical practitioners, including CHWs, globally, to build the knowledge and skills needed to provide quality care for people with ID.
