I’ve never really felt like I fit the stereotype of an outdoor adventurer. I love getting outside, but I also love getting dressed up, being comfortable, taking my time and sitting somewhere beautiful doing absolutely nothing. This week I spent time at @Outdoor_Retailer, where so many smaller outdoor brands and founders came together to share what they’re building. I met founders doing things differently — creating products, building businesses and bringing their own ideas about what the outdoors can be. [sponsored] And I loved that. Because I don’t need to fit the stereotype to belong here. I’ve traveled to all 63 national parks solo.
