Its first range includes the tour-inspired Series 1 and more forgiving Series 3, both built using metal injection moulding to control the shape, weighting and construction of each clubhead with exceptional precision. The launch has genuine credibility. Justin Rose helped develop the McLaren irons before putting them into competition, while Ian Poulter has also backed the brand. Independent testing found the Series 3 fast, forgiving and consistent, with performance capable of competing against leading players-distance irons.
