On this day in 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. shared a vision of a country transformed by justice, equality, and freedom before hundreds of thousands of people gathered at the March on Washington. More than six decades later, that vision still calls us forward. The progress we’ve made was never inevitable.
