You can only see this bar because the water is low. Most of the year you would find it the hard way, leading around until the lead knocks up onto it and the tip pulls round. That pale edge, where it drops back off into the deeper water, is where I would want a bait. Learn a lake when you can see it and you fish it far better when you cannot.
