A weekend well spent at Torch Lake. 🎣⛳️🌊 Jet skis, a huge smallmouth, a pontoon ride, golf at A-Ga-Ming, Hammerschlagen, cornhole, Codenames, euchre, great food, and a whole lot of laughs. But the best part was simply being together. Before we welcome the Class of 2026 and officially get this season underway, we had a chance to enjoy each other, compete at a few things other than wrestling, and continue building the relationships that make this group special. A huge thank you to GVSU Wrestling alumnus Scott McDowell for opening up his lake house to our team and making this weekend possible. We are incredibly grateful for alumni like Scott who continue to invest in our program and the young men in it. Great teams are built on more than what happens in the wrestling room.
