It’s August Bank Holiday weekend and London is gearing up to host Europe’s biggest street festival with the 60th anniversary of the Notting Hill Caribbean Carnival set for Sunday and Monday, August 30 and 31. Steel bands, costumes, food stalls, sound systems and hundreds of thousands of spectators will take to the streets of west London W10 in a colourful, energetic procession that has become a tradition and cultural melting pot for all to enjoy.
