Before Alysa Liu won an Olympic gold medal in women’s individual figure skating, 60 Minutes watched as she practiced her jumps. Each time she went down, Liu said: “One more.” She told 60 Minutes that the struggle to get it right “makes me feel alive.” Earlier this week, Liu announced she will be taking a break from competing this season “to recalibrate, fine-tune things & whatnot.” She added: “So fear not, I’ll be back.” #alysaliu #figureskating
