It's #TeacherTuesday! Today, we are highlighting Ms. Tricia Barber, a sixth-grade ELA teacher at Barry & June Gunderson Middle School. Ms. Barber made the switch from teaching elementary school to teaching middle school ELA 3 years ago. In this short amount of time, Ms. Barber has embraced her students and has grown tremendously as an educator. Ms. Barber hosts a kind, compassionate, and welcoming classroom. Students are not afraid to take chances in her class knowing that she will be there to guide them along the way. Ms. Barber's openness to being a life learner herself has served her students by continuously trying new strategies and techniques that benefit all students.
