Landing a series regular role on Netflix can make an actor’s career (hello, @LaverneCox, @MillieBobbyBrown, et cetera). Up next? #PriyankaKedia, the star of ‘Best of the Best’ (September 18), which follows two college friends as they enter the world of competitive Bollywood dance. Written by comedian/actor Hasan Minhaj and Prashanth Venkataramanujam, the film is being touted as the new ‘Bring It On.’ This summer, Kedia made her feature film debut in ‘Disclosure Day,’ directed by none other than Steven Spielberg. You can’t blame her parents’ reaction when, while bawling, Kedia shared the Spielberg casting news over the phone: “Oh, thank God no one died.” #BreakthroughList2026
