The Tamika Catchings mural is nominated for the Monumental Awards! Vote for #50 by September 3. In July 2025, the Indy Arts Council commissioned a new portrait mural depicting Tamika Catchings, the Indiana Fever career legend, 10x WNBA All-Star player, 4x Olympic gold medalist, and proud Indianapolis resident. The mural celebrates all aspects of catchin24 accomplishments on and off the court, including as a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and basketball ambassador. The goal of the project was to honor Catchings in her adopted hometown; convey a sense of her local, national, and international impact; and act as an inspirational presence in the popular Mass Ave cultural district.
