Replit has partnered with OpenAI to launch Free Mode, a new way to spend more time building with Replit Agent without using credits on everyday tasks. Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Luna, Free Mode handles things like brainstorming, planning, feedback and everyday Agent work, allowing subscribers to save paid usage for more complex builds. Replit says the new mode can let users create up to 30x more within their existing plan, with Core users able to get up to 30 hours of chat each month. Agent also keeps track of project context as ideas evolve into more complex builds, while Replit’s redesigned workspace brings creation, launch and growth into one place.
