Seattle is taking a chance that most teams probably weren’t willing to take The Seahawks have signed former Lions first-round pick Terrion Arnold, giving the 24-year-old cornerback another opportunity in the NFL while a serious legal situation continues to play out. From a pure football standpoint, you can understand why Seattle would be interested. Detroit traded up to select Arnold 24th overall in 2024 after he established himself as one of the best defensive backs in college football at Alabama. He went on to start 22 games over two seasons for the Lions before everything changed this summer. Now he gets a fresh start in Seattle, but this is obviously much bigger than football. Arnold is facing multiple felony charges stemming from an alleged incident this summer. Those are allegations, not convictions, and the legal process is still ongoing.
